Ward is president of Republic Building Contractors, Inc. and is responsible for all office operations including estimating, project management, accounting and marketing. Ward has over 30 years experience in construction, starting as a carpenter and earning a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology at Franklin Institute of Boston. He also holds a degree in Business Administration. “Hands on approach” is certainly an overused term but at Republic Building Contractors, Inc. it has real meaning. All field operations are under the control of co-owner, Jim Burns. As Vice President/Director of Field Operations, he is responsible for the oversight of all projects and carries out that duty with a staff of experienced superintendents, carpenters and laborers whose employment at Republic averages more than seven years. The presence of an owner in the field provides insurance that projects are built as designed and completed on time. A carpenter by trade, he has been supervising construction projects for 18 years.
Republic is proud of the long term relationships that it has established with a list of well known and respected clients. As our representative projects list shows, a great deal of Republic's work is from repeat clients. We see that as a testament to our ability to understand that our customers will accept nothing less than completion as scheduled and cost as predicted. General contracting is not possible without a solid core of talented subcontractors that have the same philosophy as Republic.
